COMPANY TIMELINE

1983
dtw Marketing Research Group, Inc. is formed by Michael Doctor, Gary Troast, and Richard Wetzel. The company, located in Verona, NJ, focused on conducting telephone, check and mail surveys, focus groups and in-depth interviews among healthcare and patient populations.

1984
dtw relocates from Verona to West Orange, NJ.

1990
dtw relocates from West Orange to Flanders, NJ.

1991
dtw launches its COM.DAT Division and becomes the very first marketing research company in the world to begin conducting "online" surveying.

1994
Pamela Statile joins dtw and brings her extensive sales and message recall study knowledge.

dtw launches a new competitive intelligence service called Promotional Message Recall Data (PMRD), which fully utilizes the COM.DAT methodology.

1996
With a few workstations connected to scanners, dtw launches the first and only database of promotional materials specific to the U.S. pharmaceutical industry.

CD Promo is made available on an annual subscription basis; clients receive the database via CDs that are shipped each month.

Due to popular demand from ad agencies, CD Promo offers one time ad hoc searches of the database.

1997
dtw begins incorporating CD Promo materials to correspond with PMRD studies. This unique ability gives clients a broader picture of the sales environment.

2000
dtw launches a new CD Promo database that focuses on promotional materials for the U.S. diagnostic industry.

2001
dtw offers access to the CD Promo databases via the Internet; the service is named CD Promo WEB•ACCESS.

2003
dtw expands the CD Promo Pharmaceuticals database to include promotional pieces from 6 major European countries (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, and the U.K.). The CD Promo Pharmaceuticals family of products and services is renamed CD Promo WorldWide.

dtw offers a service called CD Promo WorldWide Topline Analysis that can provide clients with in-depth reports of the promotional materials contained in the CD Promo WorldWide database.

2004
dtw expands the CD Promo WorldWide Pharmaceuticals database to include promotional pieces from Canada.

2006
dtw expands the CD Promo WorldWide Pharmaceuticals database to include promotional pieces from Japan and the Animal Health market.

2007
dtw begins to include e-media and e-communications from the internet into the CD Promo WorldWide Pharmaceuticals database.

2008
dtw adds Quick Search capabilities for Web•Access users that allows users to enter a trade name, manufacturer or active ingredient and then narrow the search by selecting the type of promotional material, month received and/or the country.

2009
dtw expands the CD Promo database to include cover images. Also downloadable PDFs are introduced with a summary cover sheet. This summary provides sourcing for the promotional material that summarizes the key circulation dates, specialty sources, and messages conveyed by topic on all material in the database.

2010
PMRD is rebranded as CD Promo Message View. A cost-effective, highly accurate and flexible method for collecting message related feedback from healthcare professionals and sales forces.

Detail Snapshot, a new CD Promo Message View study is introduced.

CD Promo WorldWide Promotional Analytics expands to include Rapid Review, a quick assessment of competitor's messages.

Pamela Statile
President

Pam has been conducting message recall studies since 1989. A career market researcher, Pam’s experience in healthcare began in 1978 when she joined a marketing research consulting company specializing in the clinical laboratory industry. She expanded her career into the pharmaceutical industry in 1986 when she joined the marketing research department at Sandoz Pharmaceuticals. She went on several years later to serve as a Vice President of Syndicated Studies, including Fastape, at Market Measures. In 1994, Pam joined dtw Marketing Research Group, Inc. and pioneered the launch of the first on-line method for collecting sales message recall data - CD Promo Message View (formerly PMRD). Pam has extensive experience in the design and implementation of online messaging studies, and is intricately involved in the survey design, sample selection and management of all CD Promo Message View message recall projects.

In 1996 she launched CD Promo WorldWide – the only online database of promotional materials for the pharmaceutical industry. Since that time, Pam has expanded the service to encompass the 5 major European markets and Canada.

Christine Alongi
Vice President, Competitive Intelligence Services

Christine joined dtw in March 2000 and manages the sales and project management of the custom and syndicated online research and annual subscriptions and support of CD Promo WorldWide clients. Christine is well versed in the very latest messaging across many therapeutic areas for the US market. Prior to her work at dtw, Christine was employed at PACE, Inc., a division of Lowe McAdams Healthcare, as a member of the Account Services team. Her responsibilities at PACE, Inc. ranged from project management of national speaker’s bureaus to assisting with the development of new promotional campaigns for her clients. She is also an active member of the PBIRG, PMRG and HBA.

Robin Cefalo, MS, MT (ASCP) DLM
Vice President, Global Competitive Intelligence Services

Robin joined the staff of dtw in May 2000 and has been responsible for the launch of CD Promo WorldWide in the 5 major European markets, Canada and the Animal Health market. She manages subscription services and special projects in these and other allied health markets. Working with both industry and agency clients, Robin’s expertise lies in the nuances of the global promotional market including promotional analytics and the identification and tracking of global launches. Prior to dtw, Robin served as a Health System Analyst at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics where she consulted in clinical laboratories of major health systems in the Northeast. She is also an active member of the PBIRG, EphMRA and HBA.

Jane E. Vaughan, RN
Director, US CD Promo Client Services

Jane has been with dtw since November of 1995 and has served dtw clients with her medical expertise in the review of promotional material – both pre-launch and launch for US Pharmaceuticals. Jane also serves many of the pharmaceutical advertising agencies with custom research requests of promotional material contained in our CD Promo WorldWide database and promotional analytics. Prior to dtw, Jane was a charge nurse at numerous healthcare facilities.

Jane Bailey
Executive Director of CD Promo Operations

Jane has been with dtw since 2000 and currently directs and oversees CD Promo Worldwide’s daily operations and initiatives. She is responsible for evaluating current and proposed systems and procedures and determining and implementing changes as necessary. Jane also manages the scanning department and is in charge of hiring and training new scanning employees. In addition to her day to day duties, Jane keeps the database current by keeping on top of new product entries into the pharmaceutical marketplace. She is currently pursuing a B.S. in Biochemistry.

David Rittenhouse
Manager, Analytic Services & CD Promo WorldWide Account Support

David has been with dtw since 1997 and is currently the manager of the Analytic Services Department. In this role, he is involved in all physician and sales rep recall studies from start to finish, including the preparation and analysis of client deliverables. In addition, David also manages the technical and account support for the CD Promo WorldWide service. He is a member of the Pharmaceutical Marketing Research Group (PMRG) and a graduate of the Chubb Institute in the area of Information Technology.

Ami Gold
Director, Survey Implementation & Data Processes

Ami joined dtw in 2003. She is responsible for PMRD message recall survey design including programming, survey deployment and data analysis. She is responsible for launching Sawtooth Technologies Sensus Web software and is currently implementing SPSS Predictive Analysis Software. Ami’s expertise lies in custom programming with a critical eye to detail. Prior to dtw, Ami served as a Information Systems Analyst at the Atlantic Health System where she was responsible for programming, implementation and administration of the Laboratory Information System.

Stephen Kowalchuk
Vice President, Technology

As Vice President, Technology, Stephen manages dtw’s information technology infrastructure and leads new technology product development. He brings to dtw over 20 years of experience developing and implementing new capabilities designed to radically improve competitiveness in the most challenging market dynamics.

Stephen joined dtw in 2005 as a technology management consultant, taking a full-time position with the Company in 2007. Prior to his involvement with dtw, Stephen held IT leadership roles in large and small organizations including Monsanto Company; Morgan Crucible, plc; Diamonex, Inc.; and CorNet International, Ltd.

He is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Information Sciences and Technology and a member of the Penn State Alumni Association and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. He is also a member of the Association for Computing Machinery, Special Interest Group on Computing and Society, and holds a U.S. Patent for information system design.

How do we get all of our information ?

CD Promo Worldwide collects marketing and promotional content from a global panel of over 1,500 healthcare
      professionals throughout the US, Canada and Europe, including generalist and specialist offices, hospitals,
      pharmacies, medical conferences and patient support programs. Our geographically diverse panel is reviewed
      and refreshed quarterly. New material arrives in the office and is entered into the database every day. We
      collect any and all materials distributed by pharmaceutical companies. This may include, but is not limited
      to, product brochures, patient education brochures, detail aids, slim jims, direct mail items, e-communications,
      product monographs, dear doctor letters, formulary updates, dosing aids, promotional freebies, and professional
      journal and newsletter advertisements.

      selecting the type of promotional material, month received and/or the country. The second option is the
      Advanced Search which allows users to enter a great quantity of additional information in order to produce
      a more focused set of search results. All search result images are available in both JPG and PDF formats.



Does dtw Marketing Research Group, Inc. only have promotional materials available for the US market?

No. dtw Marketing Research Group, Inc. also serves the global pharmaceutical market. We collect
      marketing and promotional materials from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom, Spain
      and Japan. We have also expanded our database to include Animal Health, Dental, and Diagnostic
